Troubleshooting Index

If you experience problems while operating your airSynth, please use

the following table to locate possible causes and solutions before

contacting Alesis Product Support for assistance.

Symptom Cause Solution

No audio from

outputs

You’re not close

enough to the

sensors

Try selecting Program

“02“ and listen for the

click. If you hear one,

try moving closer to

the sensors or try

another program.

Bad cables Replace the cables.

Destination is turned

down

Check the connections

and the level of the

mixer or amp that the

airSynth is connected

to.

Power is not

connected

Time for a coffee

break.

Buzz from outputs Cables are crossing a

power cable

Make sure that the

airSynth and its audio

cables are kept away

from power cables,

other power

transformers and wall

warts.

Bad cables Replace the cable with

a new, high-quality

cable.

Problem with the

input signal

Try disconnecting the

inputs to the airSynth

and see if the problem

remains.
