Ion: the cutting-edge of

analog modeling

ION brings analog-style control to a new level of accessibility, bolstered

by futuristic design, a turbo-charged sound engine, road-worthy

construction, and a simple user interface, this 49-key analog modeling

synthesizer sports eight voices with three oscillators, two multimode

 lters per voice and a four-part multitimbral sound engine. Of course,

an analog modeling synthesizer wouldn’t be worthy of the name if its

console didn’t feature more buttons and knobs than the command center

in a 50s sci- movie, and the ION delivers. You get no less than 30

real-time control knobs, over 70 direct-access buttons, a pitch-bend wheel,

and two assignable modulation wheels that let you tweak with abandon (and light up when active!). And there is a lot to tweak, like tons of onboard effects, including

chorus,  ange, phase shifting, echo, distortion, fuzz, and compression. ION’s full-featured Vocoder can perform up to 40 bands of vocoding with no negative impact on

the ION’s polyphony. Using ION’s clean, intuitive user interface, everything from radical  lter sweeps to subtle

tonal changes can be performed in real-time, just like the classic analog synths of the past. Connections include

four balanced analog outs, stereo balanced analog ins, and MIDI I/O.

Andromeda: TRUE analog synth

The A6 Andromeda analog synthesizer is no digital emulation of an analog

synth, it’s the real analog deal with that real analog low end, and the ability to create some

absolutely stunning sounds, from the sweetest and most soulful leads you’ve ever heard, to some serious

analog weirdness! Boasting no less than a whopping 72 knobs (72!) and 144 buttons (144!) sprouting from the front

panel, Andromeda dares you to keep your hands off of it. Do you like a synth that lets you tweak ‘til your heart’s content? One look

at the Andromeda and you’re done for!

The feature list is a synth fan’s dream. It includes 16-voice, 16-channel multitimbral architecture with full MIDI control. You get 2 oscillators per voice, with 5 waveforms,

sub-oscillators, hard and soft sync, loads of LFOs, and tons more! Andromeda’s external audio inputs let you to route any signal through its  lters. An extensive mod

matrix offers enormous freedom in con guring Andromeda’s sonic  repower, adding to its monstrous capabilities. In addition to its real analog synth engine and hands-on

interface, Andromeda provides a wide range of performance features, including multiple keyboard modes, portamento with nine slopes, and legato functions. For added

grins, Andromeda provides a built-in arpeggiator and analog-style sequencer with MIDI sync, high quality digital effects , and a nasty little analog distortion circuit. In a
